G4TV has heard from a source that Activision is already conducting the first tests of Guitar Hero IV, starting today with a small-scale test (4-6 people).
Based on recent comments, it appears we will be getting a Guitar Hero every year, along with annual Call of Duty and Tony Hawk installments.
i am a big fan of Guitar Hero1,2,3,rock the 80’s. these games are the best i played ever
I think they should do another expantion pack like one first, like the 80’s game. But, it should be Xmas songs. And you could have, ‘I wish it could be Xmas everyday’ by Wizard and ‘Merry Xmas everybody’ by Slade. And unlockable characters could be Frosy the Snowman, Rudolph and of course Santa, whose axe could be shaped like a Christmas Tree. How cool would that be!!!!!!!!!!
They better bring Megadeth back next game. I missed ‘em this one.
Apparently Aerosmith have a massive involvementin GH4, and the game is supposedley dedicated to them. I think that this garuntees;
a) At least 2 Aerosmith songs and in the game(Dude looks
a Lady and Walk this Way I hope).
b) The Aerosmith guitarist to be a boss battle.
c) Steven Tyler as a singer in the game like Brett Michaels
was.
Any speculation that GH4 is going to be an Aerosmith greatest hits is just downright silly.
It is going to be a huge sucess just like 1,2 and 3. I will be really suprised if they don’t make the 4th.

Yeah I wish they would do a lot of Hendrix, Led Zep, Skynyrd, CCR, and all that good stuff. But I know for a fact that Led Zeppelin doesn’t even allowed their stuff to be used. Stuff from other legends is soo expensive to get the rights that they can only get a few classics. This is why there is so much modern era crap because it is cheap and the artists will do anything to get there name out there.

They need to have some more Rise Against, they have some really great songs. No more of that scremo shiz like in GH3, there was way to much of that in there poluting the game. And maybe if there where not so many perverts out there, give the people some more cloths, we would rather play the notes then trying to pinpoint the exact location of her nipples under her bra. sheesh.
i’d like to see a rockin the 90’s, if not then more classic stuff, maybe some chuck berry, a new guitar as well, great game, can’t keep away from it

GH4 would be a great hit but some people would just think that they would be dragging it out. i personally didn’t like some of the songs in GH3 like slow ride and hit me with your best shot they just annoyed me. great additions would be linkin park, disturbed, three days grace, rise against, rise against the machine, some more dragonforce would be great, and definetly stonesour. that would be sweet
maybe some marilyn manson or deftones would be nice.

how about rereleasing guitar hero 1, 2 and 80’s for the ps3. that would be nice since you cannot play the ps2 versions with a ps3 guitar, and if you have a wired ps2 guitar in the ps3 the delay sucks. but yes can’t wait for the forth one

they need more songs with crazy solos, not like cult of personality cause thats so fast you cant even see some of it but some songs from disturbed would be awesome like “Guarded” “Just Stop” and “Overburdened” (three favorite songs :D) but just anything by disturbed thats harder than “Stricken” cause when i found out that disturbed was gonna be on GH3 i was really excited but when it was stricken I was dissapointed cause it was definitely not their best song. CANT WAIT FOR GH4!!!
