Activision announced today additional songs to be included in the main set list for Guitar Hero III : Legends of Rock. While delivering more master tracks than ever before, strategic partnerships have been secured with all the major and independent record labels and publishers to allow unrivaled access to their vast catalogs of music, along with supplying artists’ original recordings for even greater authenticity.

Well, I’d never put Muse in the same basket with Aerosmith, Spliknot, ZZTop, Scorpions, Rolling Stones, Iron Maiden, Metallica and many other real legends. I’ve already listened to Muse, and I really don’t like it, cause I think it’s too much electronic-ish, and too little rock-ish.
I’d never call The Killers a legend, too, but Killers is rock, at least.

knights of cydonia is one of the most amazing songs. Seriously, you need to listen to it. I like muse just fine, but I almost crapped my pants when I heard knights of cydonia was on the setlist.
Also, people who yell out what songs they want in comments are just wasting space. You really think that Activision is like “Oh look! Billy Bob wants this song in GH III! Let’s do it!” NO. So stop letting us know what you want in the game, because no one cares and you need real friends.
That’s retarded. No Led Zeppelin, yet they implement what I knew they would implement, “Welcome to the Jungle”, which I saw coming a mile away. I know “Babe I’m Gonna Leave You” is basic, but it could be like the second tier.

I was kinda hoping they would have One Armed Scissor by At The Drive-In, but meh, it could always be available for purchase later. All in all, I would say this is a pretty good song list. A few songs like Barracuda that I’ll skip, but I will enjoy the game none the less.
