There is a no fail cheat posted on other sites, but as I have tried it it includes a Green+Orange chord and my wii does not allow me to play that chord. Is this the same for others?

Hey unlock all works..but i had beat the game on medium and was trying to get all the songs inclyding the ones from multiplayer that you do not get on single play..but that did not work…I ended up getting all the bonus songs when I did the unlock all. FYI what up Chico, ca!

Flaming heads

Press Yellow, Orange, Yellow(2), Orange, Yellow(2), Orange

Hyperspeed mode

Press Orange, Blue, Orange, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Orange, Yellow. This mode makes the charts faster. There are five Hyperspeed levels. Press Green on the Hyperspeed option at the “Cheats” menu to cycle through them.

Precision mode

Press [Green + Red] three times, [Red + Yellow] two times, [Red + Blue] two times, Yellow + Blue, Yellow + Orange, Yellow + Orange, [Green + Red] three times, [Red + Yellow] two times, [Red + Blue] two times, Yellow + Blue, [Yellow + Orange] two times.

Performance mode

Press Red + Yellow, Red + Blue, Red + Orange, Red + Blue, Red + Yellow, Green + Blue, Red + Yellow, Red + Blue. This mode makes everything disappears except for the performance.

Thanks for the cheats. The Bret Michaels one did not work though. I don’t think he is even available in the Wii version. Which is wierd because you can buy the Bret Michaels video. Oh well, never liked Bret Michaels or Poison for that matter. The flaming heads one didn’t work either.

I personally tried all the cheats that I wrote above, and they all worked on my 360. I know this is a page for the Wii, but when I click on the 360 link it brings me here. Try more than once, it tooks me a couple of tries for some of them.

Also, does anyone know how to make it so that the cheats are still available when you restart your machine?

ok, mostly all codes go it at OPTIONS on main menu (when you see what you want to play, career , etc…), then you go to the bottom of that next page to CHEATS. the next page has all codes locked, the bottom one is enter codes. select that.
then you press note an strum it to activate as youre entering the cheats.
(come on, im a girl an figured that out)
when you enter the whole cheat it will say the name of it an unlocked. then hit + to go back an save it. you can then go an enter another, an another cheat. i dont think the bret code is real. ive tried three codes for it an its not happening.
if you have your game see to AUTOSAVE all codes will remaine in the active mode except NEVER FAIL…you have to turn that one one evey time. all codes seem only to work in quickplay too. you can unlock all the goodies, but still have to earnt he cash to buy them to use them…except the characters…but you have to buy the outfits.
ill give flaming heads a shot, but i doubt that works either.

ok, I have not found a cheat that works for brett or flaming heads, all other work, just practis if you can’t beat hard, i’m on expert (gave up on secound to last set on hard) grimm reaper is for ps3/xbox360 only as well as another charctor who is that dude from he tutorials & the starting movie

Lou is not that hard to beat on medium. Just keep practicing. Just make sure to get every power up you can get, even if it means skipping some of the more complicated notes before them.

Easy way to beat Lou (actually any of the battles):
1. Don’t miss any of the battle gems (which is probably one of the big problems anyway)
2. Don’t worry too much about other notes, just don’t fail
3. Save up ur powerups for their usual solo at the end; u can carry up to 3 at a time
4. Use the powerups at the right time to stop your opponent from hitting their own battle gems and receiving powerups.
5. DON’T PANIC! JUST READ THE NOTES.
6. Everyone probably already does this, but don’t synchronize the COLOR of the notes with the fret buttons, instead synchronize it with the PLACE. Farthest on the left is ur pointer finger, second is ur middle finger, etc. Opposite directions for lefty-flip.

Come on guys, it’s not that hard. It took me four times to beat Tom Morello, but the rest I beat on the first try on Medium, and I beat Tom second try on Hard; still working on Slash as I speak though!

I did the unlock all songs code and I still only see 42 songs (the bonus songs look to me like the most obscure list of songs EVER - has anyone even heard of these bands???)
The TV commercial features Van Halen’s version of You Got Me and yet even after Unlock All Songs, that song isn’t showing up on the play list. Anyone have info?

Percision mode is where you have to hit each note AS PRECISE(PERFECT)AS THE GAME GET’S! Which means holding button harder,no slow star power,and on solos,u have to hit like a anytime note(strum+note) making the game more of a pain in the @$$ then it should be or usually is,so don’t DO IT!!

Hey this sucks,I repair stuff,be more discriptive and i can find a solution.But if it’s just where it flip,but doesn’t appear the motion on the screen,u can try this(and for others 2)(wii’s only)
#1:take the wii remote out(unplug)#2: blow any dust(i suggest a cloth not wet)#3:onnect agian #4:go to calibrate whammy and calibrate#5Flip to it’s resting point,and he should look like a skeleten and the girl’s mouth is like this) () open

For other systems,i suggest a wireless,or take a break and give it a few days,and calibrate>. If nothing works,then send it in 4 repiar. For repiar,i use NINTENDO,(at>1-800-Nintendo).

I’m hoping for any japen vistits soon^.^

If you can’t beat the devil aka “lou” heres what you do…

BROKEN STRING: when he uses this attack on you take your strumming hand and push that button as fast as you can.

LEFTY FLIP: when he uses lefty flip (which most people lose on) all you have to do is get a mirror and position it so you can see the reflection of the screen. The reflection is backwards so you see it as normal until it switches back.

WHAMMY: prepare your hand on the whammy bar and when he uses it whammy as fast as you can.

AMP OVERLOAD: sometimes in certain times of the song you and the devil have the same notes, all you have to do is look at his screen.

I also heard that you can rubber band the green button down when you’re using the hard and expert mode and all you have to do is strum it when it shows up, but you are not deducted for pushing it otherwise. It makes it a little easier with one less button to push.

all the cheats work for me, maybe you’re just putting them in wrong there is no required speed . also ias able to beat raining blood on hard after awhile, just save your star power until it gets to that long hammer-on but don’t use it yet, right when your rock meter gets into the red thats when you use it, but you should practice the part after it too. and i don’t want to waste the time playing on easy and medium, so an any1 vouch for the bret micheals cheat? thx

LEFTY FLIP: when he uses lefty flip (which most people lose on) all you have to do is get a mirror and position it so you can see the reflection of the screen. The reflection is forwards so you see it as backwards until it switches back.

WHAMMY: prepare your hand on the whammy bar and when he uses it whammy as slow as you can.

AMP OVERLOAD: sometimes in certain times of the song you and the devil have the opposite notes, all you have to do is look at his screen.

i am 14 and i have beaten eazy, medium, hard, 25 on expert and i have a tip to beat raining blood…

when you get to the beginning of the hard solo just try to do pull-offs & hammer-ons. if you do not know what is a hammer-on or pull-off the look it up in the the training section in the main menu. from there go to tutorials and then to advanced techniques.

Bret doesn’t work for wii people. people have been trying to tell u this for like 5 months.It works for 360 ps2 and ps3
Flaming heads doesnt work for wii either.
Also the is a secret song that is on gh3 that is on all systems.
Its “Attack the Pop Charts” by “Dead Inside The Chrysalis”
the strnge thing about this cheat is its difficult to get. it has a different condition to get it for each system. we’ll try to find out more about this song.

I AM STUCK ON HARD!!!! oh well. Ill just practice and use cheat codes. I’m 11 and i have had the game fo 1 month and so far i have defeated easy and medium. My friend has had th game for 1 week and SUCKS at it. Anyways, I was gonna say that Air Guitar Makes ur gtar invisible, preformance mode dosnt let you play with the notes, you have to go off memory. Easy expert makes the timing window bigger to hit the notes but it does’nt let you use it on career mode.

For Niq.:
Why repeat a cheat that’s above you?!
That’s just wastin’ a comment.

Here’s a helpful hint for people who want to beat Through the Fire and Flames on Expert mode:
When the song begins hold green while strumming the other colors.
This will be helpful.
Also, the solo is a bunch of hammer ons and offs.
If you practice on hard mode, this might help.

*Make sure if you want a score and don’t want to fail the song, make sure you have the cheat no fail on.

Any more advice just ask me!

Somethin’ else too.

*Large gems don’t help at all at first, but after you have them on for two songs, try any hard songs without the gems and you will find a big difference in playin’.

Also, If you want practice for Through the Fire and Flames, practice One in Hard or Expert mode.*

Hey, that kid and blackdragon, easy expert is a mode that allows for a wider margin of error when playing a note on expert. Basically Easy Expert will increase the time in which you can miss a note but still have it count as you hit it. In other words say the maximum time normally allowed to miss a note is like 1/10 a second, easy expert would give you say, 4/10 a second. It makes the timing window bigger for hitting notes. But the gameplay speed of the notes is the expert mode speed (Please note this cheat cannot be used in single career mode).

There is a no fail cheat posted on other sites, but as I have tried it it includes a Green+Orange chord and my wii does not allow me to play that chord. Is this the same for others?

Whoever said this, I can help. It does not make a sound, but it still works. If you try strumming three, four or five notes at the same time, the sound will not come out, but it is still entered in the sequence. So if you hold Green and Orange, then strum in the cheat generator, the sound will not come out, but it is still entered.

just to throw somthing out there,
everything that was advertized originaly for gh that did not show up, is because they made the xbox 360 version waaaaaaaaaaaay better.
and 360 had it, along with lots of cheats such as the singer and flaming heads.
Easy expert, makes some of the notes in quickplay on expert dissapear, supposedly making it easy.
again, the singer thing does not work. only on the 360.
Tips for beating lou, morrello, and slash:
honestly, keep trying. try new strategies. attack ur apponant at different times. trust me it will work.
i am telling the truth. anywhere else u find it exept for an official website sponsered by gh, red octane, or vv, is a lie.

uhh…i usually 99% through the fire and flames so heres a couple tips for those who dont know:
1. The Hammer-ons (1st part) strum once, hold the green fret, tap all the other frets
2. Most of the other notes are hammer ons meaning you dont have to strum for them.
3. The end of the song probably has the easiest friggin hammer-ons ever
4. There are crazy hammer-ons in these parts -blackest waves, bridge 1, red dawn, dreams of freedom, lost inside lost within, so far away 2, bridge 2, solo fill 1 and 2, climatic build up, hermans solo (dayumm), sam’s solo (omfg), What The..!? (the name of this part speaks 4 itself), twin solo, and You rock, which like i sed is the easiest. you can find these parts in the practice section
and lastly….be pro lolz have fun

Wow, i haven’t posted anything on this forum in a while….well…i’ve finally done it…i FC’d Through the Fire and Flames….im done with this game, as my last word of advice, IF you want to at least pass through the fire and flames, play the song on practice mode in “Slower”, hold green with your left hand, strum with the right (with left hand on green and red), then quickly release your right hand to hit the yellow and then blue notes, and ontinue from there.
Practice that a lil’ then go to “Slow”, then normal..eventually you’ll pass it
And when the solo ends, make sure you have starpower or you’ll fail.
Good Luck and maybe someday you’ll FC it like me!

Just finished playing Pro Face Off with some guy online. When Fire into the Flames started the clown immediately tilted his guitar and the power up lasted FOR THE ENTIRE SONG! Hello all guitar hero players out there. All of you claim to be “The Guitar Hero God” well, you have seen him. ME! Every song on Guitar Hero, even the ONLINE songs that you can’t buy at the Music Store! All of them, on all levels, I have gotten 100%. Even the hardest song, Through The Fire And Flames!!!!! I am 12, and for everyone who ISN’T still on Easy, there is a secret that I discovered to easily beat Lou. First, do the levels Meduim through Expert, and strum all the notes WITHOUT holding any frets. When it says that you failed, go to Tutorials. Do it until it saiys “Lesson Complete.” Not on Lesson 2, when it literally says: “Lesson Complete.” Pause right after three seconds it says it, and go to EXIT. From here on out, hit red, then do the battle again. It has not been proven to work on XBOX 360, or any other console except Wii. Lou’s frets will be on Easy mode. This will increase your chances by 87%. Now, I hope this helps you, so HAPPY ROCKIN’!!!!!!!!

Easy way to beat Raining Blood on Hard and Expert:

First, try it and do your best. If you fail (I know, THE MOSH, with all the pull-offs.) then go into practice mode, do it on Slowest. You at least need to get 95%. If you succeed, move on to Slower, but if you get less than 95%, you have to keep doing that until you get 95%. On Slower, you do it until you get 93%. If you do, move onto Slow. Do it until you get 86%. If you do, move onto Full Speed. This may take a couple of tries, but play it until you get 81%. Then, still in Practice, go to where it says sections of the songs. Do Mosh 1, and do it on Full Speed, until you get 70%. If you succeed, you are ready. You are almost guarenteed to beat it now. You’re welcome!

Easier way to beat Raining Blood on Hard and Expert:

Most people fail on “The Mosh 1″ with all the pull-offs. Here is how you do this, after all the long notes, the star buttons will appear. Get the first set, and continue where it makes you strum a lot before the hard part, there will be a second set of Star Power notes. If you miss either one of them, you must restart the song, and get Star Power. Anyway, if you DO get Star Power, “The Mosh” will come up. Now, don’t use it right away, hit as much as you can, unless you are in red, or 1/3 of the way of that part done. Hope this helped!
